HDCS Alumni, Amanda Forment was mentioned in the New York Times review of a new exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, “Crafting Modernity“. Amanda curated this exhibition which is on display through September 22.

Amanda Forment is a Curatorial Assistant at MoMA’s Architecture and Design Department, specializing in Modern Design. Recently, she co-curated the exhibition “Crafting Modernity: Design in Latin America, 1940-1980,” currently at MoMA. Prior to her role at MoMA, she held a position as a curatorial fellow at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Amanda is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design’s History of Design and Curatorial Studies Program.
