Tomorrow from 9am to 11am, The Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam will be live streaming an expert talk preceding the opening of their new exhibition The Future of Fashion is Now. Hosted by Jose Teunissen and Luca Marchetti, the talk will invite renowned scholars and designers to discuss questions of materiality, the redefinition of human form, and the new values, stories, and politics of contemporary fashion. Individuals and fashion students from around the world are invited to live tweet their questions at hashtag #arttubelive. Make sure to tune in at http://www.arttube.nl/nl/live.

The show, which opens on October 11 and runs through January 18, will showcase the innovative and futuristic works of more than fifty international designers, from Viktor & Rolf’s Zen garden to Wang Lei’s woven tissue costumes to Pauline van Dongen’s “Wearable Solar Project,” which features a smartphone charger jacket. Enabled by the Han Nefkens Fashion on the Edge Award, six artists have made works exclusively for the exhibition and shared their working process on www.futureoffashion.nl.
