Laura Auricchio Delivers a Lecture at Bard Graduate Center

Laura Auricchio, Associate Professor of Art History at Parsons The New School for Design and Chair of Humanities at The New School for Public Engagement, will deliver one of the 2012-13 endowed Françoise and Georges Selz Lectures on 18th- and 19th-Century French Decorative Arts and Culture at the Bard Graduate Center. Her talk, “Hero and Villain: Lafayette’s Legacies,” draws on 5 years of research conducted for her forthcoming book, tentatively entitled The Marquis, to be published by Alfred A. Knopf in 2013. Light refreshments will be served at 5:45pm.
