ADHT Professor Brad Collins to present at Seventh Triennial Symposium on Psychoanalysis and the Arts

ADHT Associate Professor Brad Collins will be presenting a paper at the Seventh Triennial Symposium on Psychoanalysis and the Arts, to be held in Florence, Italy, May 18-20, 2017.

Professor Collins’ paper, titled Pop Art Nudes: Fetish and Fantasy, will focus primarily on artists Tom Wesselmann and Mel Ramos.

This year, the Symposium on Psychoanalysis and the Arts will be housed in Brunelleschi’s newly renovated Renaissance monument, the Ospedali degli Innocenti. Participants will be able to take advantage of private tours of the Museo Archeologico and the Accademia. Registration for the 2017 conference is now open and will see a fee increase after January 25, 2017.
