It was an absolute pleasure for BIAS Journal of Fashion Studies to be a part of the ADHT Graduate Student Symposium!

We saw and listened to fascinating research by MA students from Design Studies, Fashion Studies and History of Design and Curatorial Studies.

Their methodologies demonstrated an interdisciplinary way of thinking and addressed larger issues at the intersection of art, design and theory.

At NEXUS: An Intersection of Ideas, we learned how historic issues converged with contemporary lives, how material objects carried relationships in society, and how these different fields of scholarship crossed paths.
