On Thursday, October 16th from 6-8PM, Ethical Writers Co. will host “Zero Waste Fashion: An Intimate Conversation with Daniel Silverstein” at the designer’s studio on 213 West 35th Street. The talk will explore the concept of zero-waste fashion, which aims to minimize the amount of unused fabric that ends up in landfills by creating garment patterns that leave behind as few scraps as possible. Silverstein, who has spearheaded the movement, will explain his design techniques and processes, and talk about his latest collection, which attendees can shop through.
The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required here.
