On February 13 2010, Dr. Heike Jenss, Director of the new MA Fashion Studies program launching in fall 2010, spoke about the relationship of uniformity and fashion at Parsons upcoming Workwear symposium. The lecture was based on an interdisciplinary research project exploring uniform practices in institutional as well as individual everyday dress practices and discusses the beauty as well as the fear of uniformity.
