On November 22, Director/Chief Curator of the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center and Assistant Professor of Art History Radhika Subramaniam was invited to engage in a forum discussion titled, Art and the Everyday Crisis. The conversation, which was held at The Hordaland Art Center and led by Artist Pedro Gómez-Egaña, explored the relationship of art and catastrophe and alternative ways art can explore these types of physical sites. The discussion also touched upon topics like “sensory urbanism” and Professor Subramaniam’s experience as a researcher and curator approaching these issues.
