On February 9th, Dr. Sarah Teasley (Tutor in Department of History of Design, and Critical & Historical Studies, School of humanities, Royal College of Art) gave a talk in David Brody’s class “Theorizing Luxury” on 19th-Century Japanese Design and Luxury.
On February 10th, Victor Margolin, Professor Emeritus of Design History at the University of Illinois at Chicago gave a talk on the future of Design Studies in Professor Clive Dilnot’s graduate class Thinking Contemporary Design.
