Through a pilot partnership with General Assembly, The New School is offering specially designed workshops in October for New School students. General Assembly is an exciting start-up company that offers a new model for learning the most in-demand skills of the 21st century and emergent creative economy – with an emphasis on technology, business and design.
We invite you to workshops taught or moderated by successful entrepreneurs.
Succeeding on Your Own
This workshop will feature a panel of successful New School Graduates from Parsons, Lang, and NSPE who have been successful on their own in the creative or start up economy. They will talk about the challenges of what they did and what they think accounted for their success. They will share the lessons from their own experiences and identify the kinds of skills and personal resources that make a difference in this exciting new sector. The panel will be moderated by an instructor and entrepreneur from General Assembly.
