ADHT’s Program Director of History of Design and Curatorial Studies, Sarah Lichtman, was recently featured in a video by the Associated Press about the upcoming Sotheby’s auction of A. Alfred Taubman’s art collection. The 500-piece collection, currently on view at the auction house, is expected to sell for $500 million, which would make it the most valuable private collection in history. Lichtman was interviewed to put the expansive collection and its projected worth into perspective, commenting on its significance in the art world and likening it to “a veritable stroll through an art history textbook.”
