You are invited to the upcoming Symposium on Fashion + Politics: Fashion Praxis, initiated by Dr. Hazel Clark in conjunction with the MA Fashion Studies Program within the School of ADHT, and with support from The New School Student group, the Dress Practice Collective.

The Symposium will begin Thursday, February 27th, 2014 with an open lecture to the community to be given by visiting the Professor, Susan B. Kaiser from the University of California, Davis, followed by a reception held in honor of the launch of the second issue of BIAS: Journal of Dress PracticeFashion + Politics. See event poster for details.

The Symposium will continue on Friday, February 28th, 2014 with a series of conversations between many New School faculty members across the University, prompted by the work of Hannah Arendt in “The Human Condition,” from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m., with a break for lunch in between.
